3 Day Private Ayahuasca Retreat in Costa Rica
A private 3-day experience with one guided ayahuasca ceremony, personal preparation, diet guidance, integration support, and time to rest in nature.
.
Who This Stay Is For
Ayahuasca is not something most people choose casually.
Many people feel called to this experience at a moment when something inside them is asking for attention — a life transition, emotional weight, a need for clarity, or a deep desire to reconnect with themselves in a more honest way.
This 3-day stay is for adults who feel ready for one carefully held ayahuasca ceremony, but do not necessarily need a long retreat with many ceremonies or a large group of strangers.
It may be right for you if you are looking for a private, grounded, and personal setting where there is time to arrive, prepare, enter the ceremony with intention, and rest afterward before returning to everyday life.
Ayahuasca can be a strong and demanding experience. For this reason, we do not treat the ceremony as something separate from the rest of the stay. The preparation, the diet, the conversation before the ceremony, the night itself, and the following day are all part of the process.
You may come alone, as a couple, or with a small private group of close people you already trust. What matters most is that the space feels safe, respectful, and quiet enough for your own process to unfold.
What Is Included
Everything is arranged with one clear intention: to give you a private, well-supported ayahuasca experience with enough time before and after the ceremony.
Your stay includes one guided ayahuasca ceremony, personal preparation before the ceremony, and integration support afterward. The entire property is reserved exclusively for you, so there are no other guests, no open group, and no outside schedule to follow.
Also included:
- One guided ayahuasca ceremony
- Personal preparation before the ceremony
- Guidance around the ayahuasca diet
- Integration support after the ceremony
- Exclusive use of the property
- One massage
- Time for rest, silence, and nature
- Optional walks through nearby pastures
- Optional waterfall visit
- Quiet time at the house and in the garden
- Optional bonfire evening
- Meals prepared upon request
- Airport pickup available for an additional fee by prior arrangement
The stay can be kept very simple, or it can include more time in nature if that feels supportive. Some guests prefer to rest, write, meditate, and stay close to the house. Others enjoy walking through the pastures, visiting the waterfall, sitting by the fire, or spending time in the garden as part of their preparation and integration.
How the 3 Days Usually Flow
There is no strict hourly program at Lian House.
The stay has a clear structure, but it is not forced into a rigid schedule. The rhythm is shaped around arrival, preparation, the ceremony itself, and the time needed afterward to rest, reflect, and return gradually.
Day 1 — Arrival, Massage, and Preparation
The first day is about arriving fully.
After you come to Lian House, there is time to settle into the space, see the ceremonial cabin, walk around the property, and begin leaving daily life behind for a while.
A massage is included on this day to help the body release tension before the ceremony. We also take time to speak about your intention, your current life situation, your expectations, your preparation, and anything that feels important before entering the experience.
This day gives the retreat a grounded beginning.
Day 2 — Nature, Diet, and Ayahuasca Ceremony
The second day is kept simple and focused.
During the day, we keep the atmosphere calm and clean. Meals are prepared in a way that supports the ceremony, following the preparation we have discussed before your arrival.
Depending on how you feel, there may be time to rest, sit in silence, walk through the nearby pastures, spend time in the garden, or visit the waterfall. Nothing is forced. The purpose of the day is to help you enter the ceremony with more presence and less distraction.
Later, the ayahuasca ceremony takes place at night in our wooden ceremonial cabin. The space is prepared with candlelight, natural materials, and the sounds of the mountains around us.
After the ceremony, there is no pressure to explain everything immediately. You can rest, stay in silence, or simply allow the experience to settle.
Day 3 — Reflection and Departure
The final morning is kept open for breakfast, reflection, conversation, and integration.
This is a time to notice what feels important after the ceremony — what has moved, what feels clearer, what may need care, and what you want to carry back into your everyday life.
There is no need to rush out early. You can take your time, gather yourself, and leave when you feel ready.
